About Us

One Health Nepal (एक स्वास्थ्य नेपाल) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established on 15th August 2023, aims to enhance human health, environmental health, animal health and leadership development through various programs.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote holistic health and resilience in Nepal by integrating human, animal, and environmental well-being through collaborative research, education, and community engagement. We aim to advocate for animal welfare and sustainable livestock practices along with the protection of biodiversity and mitigation of environmental risks and to empower communities with knowledge and tools for healthier living along with many other accessory missions and plans.

To create a resilient and sustainable society where communities, professionals, and policy-makers work together to integrate human, animal, and environmental health—preventing disease, protecting biodiversity, and ensuring well-being for all.

Message from the President

One Health Nepal is a non-governmental, non-political, youth-led organization dedicated to promote better health through the collaborative integration of human health,environmental health & animal health. Our mission is to minimize and ultimately eradicate zoonotic diseases by implementing programs such as animal birth control, vaccination campaigns, awareness initiatives, tree plantation drives, medicine distribution, and other community-focused interventions. These efforts contribute to create a healthier environment and improve the overall quality of life for both humans and animals.
